Spotlight: Won two in a row on Tapeta last midwinter; rather quiet in the middle months of the year but he was a ready winner at Newcastle (1m; second run after break) last week; not ruled out under a penalty but does need to prove himself on Polytrack (second attempt, first was inconclusive).

Spotlight: Good effort when close second of 12 over C&D in May off this mark and he ran another sound race back over 1m here before winning at Bath in October; good chance he'll give it a good shot again.

Spotlight: Solid record on the AW and he appreciated the return to sand when achieving his best results yet with two 1m wins this autumn, at Chelmsford and under a penalty at Southwell; a further 6lb higher today but he had a little up his sleeve last time and still seems to be improving.

Spotlight: Three wins at about 1m in the early months of the year, including on Polytrack; well treated again after a quiet spell and his recent Wolverhampton run suggests he's in good enough form to take advantage soon; he does need to be sharper from the stalls than on last two runs, though.

Spotlight: 0-14 for Ismail Mohammed but he's dropped down the weights since making his handicap debut last autumn and he appreciated the return to 1m when going close at Ffos Las in August; sold 6,000gns in October; not ruled out on AW debut for new yard with regular headgear discarded.

Spotlight: Beaten only about 2l in a C&D novice last December on second start for previous yard; minor form in 7f AW handicaps, the latest two at big prices for this trainer; has it to prove on first run since April.
